About Us

ISPOR South Africa is a registered non-profit and regional chapter of ISPOR, established in 2007 to advance health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) in South Africa.

Our mission is to improve healthcare decision-making in South Africa by promoting HEOR through educational events and capacity-building projects, serving as an objective and impartial platform for sharing, learning, and dialogue across all phases of Health Technology Assessment (HTA).

We connect professionals from academia, providers, life sciences industry, funders, governments, and NGOs through conferences, webinars, and collaborative initiatives.

Part of ISPOR: 20,000+ members across 110+ countries, advancing HEOR worldwide.
